It's A...

Boy! Can you believe it? I can't. I was certain it was a girl. But the ultrasound is in, and it's most definately a boy. He looks very healthy. Everything looked just as it should. The technician couldn't get a clear look at his heart, so I get to have another ultrasound next month just to check that out. But the Dr. said everything looked perfect, and he was just the size he should be.

Now we have to start thinking of names. We have such a hard time finding names we agree on. It took us forever to come up with Kenyon's name. I told Karl we are never going to find another boy's name we can agree on. So, we need suggestions. Nothing too trendy or too traditional. We like names that are a little different, but nothing strange. Send us your ideas.

WOW! That's great. I have a sack full of boy clothes I was holding on to just in case it was a boy. I like the names Hudson and Gavin.

Congrats! If I think of any names that we don't plan on using down the road, I'll let you know. ;)

I thought of two:
Cooper and Garrett.

This is exciting!!!!! Now you know "who" to plan for. Mara will still "get" to be the only girl, won't she? She will just have another brother to look out for her----or maybe she will look out for him. Congratulations to all of you. We are happy for you too.

Congrats! Good luck with a boy name...they're so darn hard. We finally agreed on Gavin at the hospital :) If I think of any, I'll pass them along!

Even though I already talked to you...maybe we can trade? You can have this girl and I'll take your boy? Haha, we like the name Fisher, we are going to use it if we ever have another boy, but you can use it too if you want:)

A boy? we never could have one of those! Congrats!
I LOVE the name Gavin...good choice Lisa:)

Are you going to stick with the K-name thing?

You could always go with Edward! Ha.

PJ - I jokingly told Karl that we could name it Edward after we found out yesterday. He didn't find that very funny.

Lisa - We'll definately take that sack of clothes. Thanks for thinking of us.

Congratulations! I thought we would have girls together, but no such luck. I am having a hard enough time deciding on a girl name, I will let you know if I think of any good boy names.

Edward? I heard that name sucks. Ha Ha. My vote if for a complete German name. I vote Johann Georg Schempp. I also like the names Kasch and Koen.

How about Kedward?

Or in the spirit of Rivalry week, how about the name Kute? 'Cause you know he'll be cute and a ute.

Lisa - Kute...that's a good one. I instantly thought of Cooter on Dukes of Hazard.

Congrats! We are so excited for you! We thought we were having at least one boy and were shocked to find out they are both girls. I was an only girl and loved it so I'm sure Mara will have fun soaking it all in! I will think of some boy names and get back to you :)

Oh, I thought of some more names. I remember I liked Holden and Canon. Two names of which would be a contender if I ever had any more boys...which it would probably be if I ever got pregnant again ... which means I probably won't. :)

Karl has always liked the name Steve.
