We are having a baby naming war at our house these days. We have decided for sure to name him Coen, or is it Koen? There is the dilemma. Both are pronounced the same, it's just the spelling we can't agree on. Stupid, I know. We just can't seem to come to an agreement. When we couldn't resolve the issue we decided to take it to the kids. Cruz wants Coen, Kenyon wants Koen (big surprises there!) and Mara changes her mind everytime you ask her. So we basically got NO help from the kids. So I'm wondering what all of you think. Should it be Koen or Coen? It's up for a vote, but time is quickly running out. Vote today, he could be born tomorrow.
BTW, his middle name is going to be Brent if that makes a difference in how you vote.

Well, have Mara be the tie breaker... she says Moen! :) Maybe he'll own a plumber supply store.
You can't name him Coen because his initials will be CBS... and all the kids will shout to him, " Hey you, TV station!"

Hmmmmm, I like Koen better. I don't know why. Maybe it's because of the CBS thing.
How are you feeling???? Have you stepped up the activity level to help him get here or are you still laying low?
Everyone was sick for a while, so I laid low while that was going on. I figured that would be bad timing. Then last Sat. I went to the hospital, but everything slowed down when I got there, so they stopped it. The Dr. said he'd like to buy me one more week. So I've been up and around, but still taking it pretty easy. I think as of today I'm forgetting the take it easy thing. So we'll see what happens.
Lisa - maybe not. He'd hate us, and I wouldn't blame him! Karl keeps saying to just name him Wandy.
I like Coen. Maybe Cohen? I don't know. Chris and I can't have any more boys because we're completely out of names we agree on.

I voted for Coen. I think the C looks more masculine. I don't know why, it just does! Who cares if his initials are CBS? Most kids won't even pick up on that. I really like the name by the way. I considered that one. Good Luck with everything!
I am partial to the K---I guess you can guess since we have a Keith, Karl, and Kelly in our family. I think either way will be a great name for him though. (I guess if he turns out to be a she, that will solve the dilemma, won't it?)
