Just thought I would give a little update on what's been going on as far as baby goes. As you know, I was taken off bedrest at 34 weeks. That was on Feb. 21st. The Dr. was sure I would go into labor fairly soon, which I did. At 35 weeks, Feb. 28th, I went to the hospital. Things were going pretty slow, and stalled completely for a while. The Dr. decided to give me some meds to stop it altogether. That was okay because it was still pretty early.
Since then the contractions continue, but everytime they get really going and I think we are on our way to the hospital they stop. I'll have really hard contractions that are right on top of each other for about 30-60 minutes, and then they stop. Then 3 or 4 hours later they start in again. The result... frustration. So even though I am officially off bedrest, the strength and frequency of these contractions make me VERY tired and not really able to do much of anything. Everytime I see my Dr. he says, "I can't believe you're still pregnant." Yeah, that doesn't help, it just kinda makes me want to hit him.
So we are now at 38 weeks, no baby yet, the contractions continue, and I'm thinking we will be making it all the way to my scheduled c-section on March 31st. So, there you have it.

Hang in there! I am right there with ya, but not as stong and frequent contractions, although I do have them all the time. I always say maybe I'll have the baby early, but it never happens. So I am thinking I will probably go till the 31st as well. I am trying not to get my hopes up. We can do it!!! Only one more week as of tomorrow!

Don't give up. I was so done that I begged the doctor at 37 weeks to please make the pain go away...he didn't. The last week goes a lot faster if you figure at least you don't have to go to 40 weeks. Anyways, you know better than me, you are having your 4th and my 3rd is only 3 weeks now. You are great and can make it.

Oh, wow! I haven't checked in with you in awhile, and now I do and find out you're not only pregnant, but you're almost not pregnant!! Congrats, and I love the name, but do yourself a favor and spell it the way YOU want to, it is you that went through all this to bring him here! You're in our thoughts and prayers, hang it there, I'm sure it sucks!
